The dark side of my ability...

17.06.2007
Today is a particular day, because I've discovered the dark side of my ability.
I woke up early morning (about 6.00AM), and I went on balcony. I wanted to take a breath, and I saw a pigeon which was sitting on a branch in a front of my balcony. I thought that it was a great opportunity to practise my ability, but that time I wanted to try something new. I tried to speed up the time in narrow range but with maximum intensity, directly on that pigeon. I did it, but few seconds after I realised what have I done. I killed that pigeon. I was wondering what killed that bird, my ability or fall from the tree. I decided to do this once again, but this time with annoying fly which was flying in my room. The fly fell down on my floor, but was still living, because I used my ability with less intensity. After that experiment, I came to a conclusion: this "trick" with my ability overloads living creatures. When I'm speeding up the time directly on them with large intensity, I'm speeding up their metabolism. In this short time creature is loosing water, oxygen and carbohydrates, in consequence loosing consciousness from emaciation.
Contrary to pretences, it can be useful ability, because using this "trick" I can overpower any potential attacker. I think that I can even kill him, when I use this trick with maximum intensity for longer time. Fortunately I'm not a murderer.

Having Shawn Ferrel open the 4400 Center that is very good news since after dispensation it makes the next step of having a program to certify an ability with a degree easier. Especially if you have a recognized place that's already earned some credibility doing it.

Most P+ can certainly benefit from training in their ability and having Heather Toby working with Shawn at the Center is definitely going to help in harnessing those abilities. To help matters I did make some school supplies for them to help show solidarity, to get them you can go to http://www.cafepress.com/giftedplus to show your support for The School for the Gifted P+
